Empowerment Association's
Response to Covid-19 (Coronavirus)

At the Empowerment Association, the health and well-being of our families, clients, staff, partners, and communities is of the highest importance to us.

As Covid-19 continues to impact and create uncertainty for us all, we want to assure you that we are doing our part in controlling the spread of the virus.

WHAT WE’RE DOING

As with the rest of the world, we are closely monitoring the latest news and following CDC guidelines regarding Covid-19. All staff and volunteers have been instructed to stay home if they are experiencing any flu-like symptoms. Protective gear, i.e., masks and gloves are to be worn at all times and changed before excessive use. All donations are regularly disinfected and sanitized with disposable disinfectant cloths, upon arrival and departure.

In addition, we’ve created a host of resources to help keep you informed and updated. However, we strongly encourage everyone to stay informed by following the recommendations of federal and local authorities as well. For more information about Covid-19 visit the website for Centers for Disease Control and Prevention at www.cdc.gov and/or coronavirus.gov.

Our hearts and prayers go out to all that have been directly affected by this virus. We appreciate and give thanks to the healthcare workers, government officials, and everyone else who is on the front line working to contain this virus. Let’s all join in and do our part to help. Together we will get through this!

It's simple.....

  • Stay home

  • Maintain social distancing

  • Wash your hands

  • Disinfect frequently touched areas

  • Don’t hoard essential items

Should you find yourself in need of assistance, please contact us. We will try our best to assist you.

Sincerely,

The Empowerment Association
